Vonage Business Plus

Vonage Business Plus service is the superior solution for small to medium-sized enterprises requiring multiple phone lines.  Standard Vonage service plans require an analog telephone adapter (ATA) for each telephone line. While convenient for residential or home office use, this requirement can quickly become restrictive or cumbersome for businesses that require multiple phone lines or who have premise-based PBX or IP-PBX phone systems. The Vonage Business Plus plans allow customers to connect their SIP-based phones, IP-PBX and conventional PBX (using VoIP gateways) directly to the Vonage Broadband Phone network.

Free Incoming Calls

Incoming calls to a Vonage Business Plus plan does not use minutes from you plan.  This makes Business Plus ideal for inbound call centers.

 

Unlimited Simultaneous Incoming and Outgoing Calls

Vonage Business Plus plans do not limit the number of simultaneous calls incoming or outgoing to your SIP trunk.  You are only limited by your bandwidth and IP PBX configuration.  Enjoy the freedom to use your SIP connection as it was intended.

 

International Calling

Vonage Business Plus plans offer the same low rates for international calls.  Like standard Vonage accounts, International calls are billed separate and do not count as minutes from your plan.  Current Vonage International rates can be found here.

 

Vonage Virtual Numbers

You can add Virtual Numbers from the US, Canada, Mexico, and many other countries to your Vonage Business Plus account at any time.  Calls to Virtual numbers are forwarded to your primary DIDs just like a local call.  More information on Vonage Virtual numbers can be found here.

 

Vonage Toll Free Plus

For only $4.99 per month you can add a Vonage Toll Free number to your account. The first 100 incoming minutes are included free every month and each additional minute is only 4.9 cents. Toll Free minutes do not count against you regular plan minutes.  Your Toll Free Plus number will ring on any of your Vonage lines.

Test Your Broadband Connection

Vonage Business Plus plans require that you have enough high-speed internet bandwidth at your location for the total number of lines that you are using.  Use the Speed Test results below for your site to determine if your current connection is adequate.  The safe calculation is 90K bps for each phone line.  Ensure that your Upload Speed can accommodate the total number simultaneous phone calls for uninterrupted voice.  A cable modems in the United States often provide at least 384K bps upstream bandwidth, which allows for 4 simultaneous phone calls without voice compression.

 

If you are combining Voice and Data over your internet connection, be sure that your router supports Prioritization or QoS to guarantee that Voice calls take precedence over your data.

Local Number Portability

 

Upgrading to Vonage Business Plus from Vonage standard service?  No problem.  We can port your number from a standard Vonage account to Vonage Business Plus.

 

Vonage Business Plus plans offer the same Local Number Portability as standard Vonage plans.  If LNP is offered in your area for standard Vonage service, then it is available for Vonage Business Plus.  LNP management for Vonage Business Plus can be purchased here from Binary Systems for $25 per number.
